Synopsis

Alan Braves, captain of a pirate ship, finds himself accused of a crime of which he is innocent, due to the treachery of a fellow pirate. He decides to leave for America, but during his voyage, he finds a Spanish galleon which he saves from the pirates’ attack, and escorts the galleon to Maracaibo. Bravas, first welcomed with full honours for having saved a Spanish ship, is then denounced to the governor by Braseeur, the traitorous pirate. He was arrested and condemned to death after being tortured.
